Today there are people who often are managers and executives who travel to the desert, once again, to come to himself. In the endless vastness and harshness of the desert you are looking for a break, no phone, e-mail, appointments and bustle. Then often shatter the questions: Who am I? Where can I stay? What is important to me in life?
desert times are in the Bible times of challenge and clarification. There are times in which people learn to live by what God gives. Over and over again the belief that God has created confidence in us and grow. We can prepare the ground for them, can contribute to anxiety and we can be aware of where all this is paid to us. Especially in the desert times of our lives we experience this being thrown back on ourselves, we are confronted with the question: What is it? What is it, what we really need to live, what really matters?

desert times are not easy times. We do not have to talk nice to not glorify it. But we must expect that they will be for us the beginning of something new. We do not need to consume in longing for the good old man, the irretrievably lost. In the desert times of our lives we must look out look for the manna and the quails, which God has intended for us. We are fed up and realize that God is with us in all our ways.
